Allison Leatzow is an Autism Consultant with Florida State University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) where she serves the high school and adult population. Allison helped complete work on two grants focused on improving job interview skills of those with ASD, resulting in the creation of a curriculum and published research. Allison has also been instrumental in co-creating the Artists and Autism Series, showcasing CARD clients’ artistic talents in the visual and performing arts. Several publicly acclaimed exhibitions and performances have been held throughout Tallahassee. Prior to CARD, Allison spent eleven years with Leon County Schools and Leon ARC in supported employment assisting adults with disabilities obtain and retain employment. She currently serves as the Leon ARC vice-chair. Additionally, she serves on KEYS, a program which raises scholarship funds providing students with disabilities the opportunity to attend a post-secondary institution.
