Allison Leatzow is an Autism Consultant with Florida State University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities where she serves the teen and adult population. Allison has completed work on two grants focused on improving interview skills for those with ASD preparing for the world of work. As a result of these grants, a curriculum has been developed to meet their changing needs as they progress in their chosen careers. Allison has also been instrumental in co-creating the Artists and Autism Series, showcasing CARD clients’ artistic talents in the visual and performing arts. Several publicly acclaimed exhibitions and performances have been held throughout Tallahassee. Prior to CARD, Allison spent eleven years with Leon County Schools and Leon ARC in supported employment assisting adults with disabilities become employed. She currently serves as Leon ARC’s vice-chair. Additionally, she serves on KEYS, which provides scholarships to students with disabilities to attend a post-secondary institution.
