Caitlin Fielding grew up on Long Island in East Hampton, NY. She received her Bachelors of Science in Special Education/ Elementary Education from Dowling College in Oakdale NY in 2011, and a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership in 2016 from Barry University in Miami FL.
Upon graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Caitlin worked at the Genesis School for Autism on Long Island in the adult program. In 2011, she moved to Florida and began working privately as a behavioral therapist and social facilitator for elementary age children with ASD. Caitlin began her teaching career in 2012 working for a small private school for students with ASD in West Palm Beach and started working at The Learning Academy at the Els Center of Excellence in Jupiter in 2013. She has worked with a wide range of ability level on the Autism Spectrum, and is currently in a classroom with post-graduate students ranging in age from 18-22 years old working on vocational skills to gain future employment.
