Speech-language pathologist, Dr. Pat Craanen, is founder and owner of Social Communication Coaching, LLC, a private speech-language pathology practice located in Titusville, Florida, specializing in coaching individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Social-Pragmatic Language Disorder to improve their executive function, emotional regulation and social-pragmatic language communication skills.

“Dr. Pat” has provided professional development and presented research at the local, state, national and international level on subjects such as coaching and mentoring, self-monitoring and self-management techniques, emotional regulation supports, executive function strategies, and social communication skills. Pat is also a Florida Public Schools Contractor which permits him to observe and work with students on campuses across Florida.

A “Three Time Knight” from the University of Central Florida, Pat was the 2014 Florida Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA) School Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year. Pat and his wife Michelle, also an SLP, have three children.
