Sharona Sommer, Certified Professional Coach, is the National Director of Family Services at the College Internship Program.

Sharona first joined the College Internship Program in 2007 as a Student Advisor at CIP Brevard in Melbourne, Florida. After 6 years at CIP, Sharona transitioned to start her own business, Sharona Coaching and Consulting, which provides coaching to families with teens and young adults on the Autism Spectrum. As part of her coaching practice, Sharona also enjoyed leading workshops and facilitating a local monthly support group.

Sharona Sommer has over 20 years in the Special Education field and is the founder of Sharona Coaching and Consulting. Sharona is a dynamic speaker and presented at several national conferences (LDA, National Autism Conference, YAI), she consults with several organizations in the Autism field.
