Sohani Char Psy.D. is a bilingual licensed psychologist at the Developmental Assessment Clinic at the Unicorn Children’s Foundation Clinic at NSU’s Mailman Segal Center for Human Development. Dr. Char earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Psychology. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Unicorn Children’s Foundation Clinic at NSU’s Mailman Segal Center for Human Development. Dr. Barrientos has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, and working with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. Dr. Barrientos has expanded the services at the clinic to Spanish speaking families by guest speaking on local Spanish radio stations and presenting in the community. In addition, she has conducted international evaluations for clients residing in Mexico, Honduras, and Denmark.
