B.O.O.T. CAMP: Building Opportunities and Overcoming Obstacles in Transitions is a project that was created to aid students in general education settings during the transitionary periods. Students are selected in collaboration with local district personnel to participate in a week long project where topics such as social skills, self-advocacy skills and self-determination skills are discussed. 1. Aid students with autism spectrum disorder in general education settings successfully transition
2. Provide information on various topics related to transitions, including self advocacy and self determination
3. Teach strategies and concepts related to social skills.
