Alexandra Kay

Alexandra Kay is a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and special educator. She has worked in the public school setting for 12 years and currently works as the Lead Behavior Analyst for Pinellas County Schools in Florida. She holds a Master’s Degree in Severe Special Education from Bridgewater State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Stonehill College, and completed her Applied Behavior Analysis coursework through Florida Institute of Technology. Alexandra works with students in Pre-K through extended transition who have emotional and behavioral disabilities, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and autism. Alexandra trains and coaches school staff on developing and implementing behavior plans, effective interventions, and classroom management strategies. Alexandra’s special interests include creating trauma-informed schools, developing student-teacher relationships, and building inclusive classroom communities. When she is not working, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her dog, baking, and cheering for Boston sports teams.
