There will be a brief discussion of motivators for human behavior and how to develop hypotheses about what a child is trying to accomplish. Lastly, participants will learn why the consequences imposed by adults are so often ineffective and how to create reasonable, effective consequences that are logically tied to the behaviors we want to change.
