Maria Henao is a CARD Specialist in The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Transition and Adult Programs at UM-NSU CARD. She received her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and bachelor’s in Varying Exceptionalities from Nova Southeastern University. Maria has been passionate about working with families, children, adolescents, and adults with autism and other related disorders for over 25 years. She has extensive experience and training in the field and has dedicated her career to helping people with autism reach their full potential. Her approach is centered on creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth, development, and independence.
