B4-G: Contemporary Practices in Toilet Training for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

This training will present contemporary considerations for data collection, procedural modifications, and medical variables when addressing challenging toilet training cases in clinic-based early intervention settings. The training will primarily focus on establishing and maintaining urinary continence, with proper recognition of how stool withholding, or constipation, can impact toileting success.  

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Attendees will learn contemporary, behavior-analytic approaches to establishing toileting continence.
  2. Attendees will learn relevant measures and analyses that can inform toilet training decision making.
  3. Attendees will learn the relative impact and importance of considering medical variables when monitoring toileting progress.
