Gisselle Arriete-Callado

Gisselle Arriete-Callado, M.A., BCBA is the Lead Adaptive Care Behavior Analyst at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Gisselle is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive experience in the development and implementation of behavioral programs designed to evoke positive behavior change. She has over fifteen years of experience working with children with a wide range of diagnoses as well as typically-developing children and their families in different environments including in-home, school, clinical, and community settings. She spearheaded in the development of the Adaptive Care Program at Nicklaus, specifically designed to enhance the inpatient experience for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and those facing behavioral or communication challenges. Through industry evaluations and gap analyses, she identified areas for improvement and established new frameworks for standard operating procedures, staff training, and patient care documentation. She actively trains frontline staff on providing specialized care, managing crisis situations, and ensuring safety, demonstrating a strong commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
