Cindy McIntire

Dr. Cindy McIntire (she/her) serves as the Clinical Training Coordinator and as an Assistant Professor in Capella University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. She holds a BA in Psychology from Columbia College, a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University. Cindy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (2017) and an AAMFT-approved supervisor (2020). She specializes in working with neurodiverse families. Additionally, she provides family, couples, and individual therapy services to diverse populations. Outside of clinical work, Cindy teaches courses at the Masters and PhD levels and has extensive experience supervising students. Her family includes her husband and their two children, along with their beloved 10lb Yorkie named Buster, inspired by her favorite baseball player, Buster Posey. Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Cindy enjoys water activities, music, and traveling.
