Emphasis will be placed on the importance of community for individuals with disabilities, recognizing their unique challenges and the invaluable role community plays in their lives. By fostering inclusive environments, we not only enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities but also enrich the fabric of our communities as a whole. Central to this discussion about the important of community, are social skills groups and how they are designed to cultivate essential interpersonal skills while fostering a sense of community among participants.
