Managing crisis in persons with I/DD and co-occurring mental health needs

In collaboration with the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC), the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed (NADD) is now providing trainings designed to meet the needs of individuals with dual diagnosis (intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health IDD/MI) who may require crisis intervention, crisis support, and specialized care. In Florida and nationally, the available data suggests that the number of dually diagnosed individuals (particularly children and youth) in need of crisis management is increasing annually.
