IF YOU ARE RECEIVING CEUs YOU MUST READ THIS AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS BELOW

Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the 31th Statewide Annual CARD Conference.

Credits through CE Broker for Florida Board of Psychology (APA) and Florida Board of Occupational Therapy (OT), ASHA, and BCBA  will be available at the 31st Statewide Annual CARD Conference.

CEUs are available with your ticket purchase as a professional for the full weekend. Educators DO NOT require CEUs. They use in-service credits. In service credit forms are within the conference program.

If you did not purchase CEUs with your ticket you may do so at an additional cost of $55 per discipline. 

IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING CONTINUTING EDUCATION UNITS

We do not have any authority over whether credits earned will be accepted, as this authority rests with the State licensing boards, and are therefore unable to provide information regarding their requirements. If you are receiving CEUs it is your responsibility to read all prior to the conference.

CE Broker is the CEU provider for APA & OT through Florida State University Autism Institute provider #50-17699. Participants from outside of Florida may request a certificate of attendance to show completion of the CEU approved sessions. However, we recommend to contact your respective licensing board and/or state psychological association to ensure credit will be accepted for re-licensure.

ASHA CE Provider approval and use of the Brand Block does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.

.Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB): The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at Florida Atlantic University is an approved provider of Type 2 CEUs, Provider Number (OP 060119). 

You must clock in and clock out of each session with CEU Helper.  You must remain in the session for its duration to receive credit. 

The 31th Annual CARD Conference sessions for BCBA are under review for CEs.

CEUHelper is a web/mobile application for obtaining and tracking CEUs

The CEUHelper APP: You can download the app on your mobile/tablet device.  CEU HELPER SET UP.

*NOTE: Internet connection will not be provided by the conference; however, CEUHelper will work offline for the duration of the conference. Just join the conference at home before you arrive. CEUHelper, CARD or PALS, is not responsible for data charges you may incur while using the service. Use airplane mode to stop the app from using data plans.

At the conference:

Pre downloading the app will save you time. Once at the conference venue, register yourself, get your CEU token, then venture over to the CEU desk to get your CEU session evaluation form and cover sheet for identification. You must have a session evaluation form and cover identification cover sheet!  

How to use CEU Helper at the event

To check in and out of events, look for the room proctors or codes posted on the walls to be scanned in or out before and after each event. QR codes on green are for checking into sessions and QR codes on red are for checking out of sessions.

There will be no stamping of session forms. This will only be for IN SERVICE credits for educators.

**Note: If your mobile devices runs out of battery or otherwise isn’t working, stop by the CEU desk for a badge to keep collecting CEUs. Feel free to use “airplane” mode to conserve battery. CEUHelper works offline!

What if I don’t have a mobile device or don’t want to use CEUHelper?

If you do not want to download the app, or you do not have a mobile device then stop by the CEU registration desk at the conference to pick up a CEU badge to use throughout the CARD Conference. Proctors at the doors of each event will scan you in and out. DO NOT LOSE YOUR BADGE. IT CANNOT BE REPLACED.
