Diana Pittenger is a native Floridian with a master’s degree in Exceptional Education from The University of Central Florida. She also holds an Autism Spectrum Disorders Graduate Certificate. Diana has been teaching in Brevard County since 2001. This is her fourth year as the ASD Home Base teacher at Central Middle School. Diana’s classroom is also a Mentor Demonstration Site for Project ASD at the University of Central Florida. Diana is the proud mom of two neurodiverse sons, one of whom is Autistic.
