Wilbur ‘Drew’ Andrews

W. Drew Andrews, EdD. is the Director at the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities at the University of Central Florida. His focus is expanding postsecondary opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities throughout Florida at technical colleges, state colleges, and universities. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of North Florida and his specialist and Ed.D. from the University of Florida. Drew taught elementary, middle and high school students with disabilities and developed transition programs for students ages 18-22. He served at the University of Florida as the project director for the state career development and transition discretionary project on transition. Dr. Andrews also served as a Transition Coordinator and Director of Special Education and Student Services.
