Elizabeth Jekanowski

Dr. Jekanowski is an award-winning educator and scholar with over twenty years of experience in the field of education with a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. Her career as an educator has included classroom and administrative positions at all levels, as well as coordinating and directing university graduate programs in education. She is an expert peer reviewer for papers on leadership and inclusive education for AERA, UCEA and The Journal of Research for Educational Leadership. Dr. Jekanowski currently serves the Martin County School District as a Program Specialist, focusing on transition support and services for students aged 13-22 years of age with disabilities which include Project SEARCH, Martin SAILS and Career Experience.
