Rebecca Wolenski

Rebecca Wolenski, M.S. is a 4th year clinical psychology doctoral trainee at Florida International University in Miami, FL. She is currently completing an advanced practicum training at the University of Miami’s Autism Spectrum Assessment Clinic. Rebecca has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and caregivers who experience a variety of internalizing and developmental mental health challenges by providing evidence-based assessments and interventions. Prior to her doctoral training, she received her Bachelors in Psychology at Yale University where she was heavily involved in research related to the development of psychosocial treatment for children with anxiety disorders. She also completed clinical research training at Massachusetts General Hospital wherein she aided in the investigation of psychopharmacological treatment of bipolar spectrum disorders in youth. Rebecca’s research is focused on childhood anxiety disorders and factors that predict psychosocial treatment outcomes. Recently, she is curious about metacognitive and media-influenced factors that may contribute to the maintenance of these disorders as well as knowledge of, stigma around, and treatment seeking behavior of anxiety.
