Creating Successful Inclusion Experiences for Students With Complex Needs
This presentation will focus on designing and implementing inclusive educational experiences for students with complex needs.  This may include students with significant challenging behavior or students needing significant adaptations to the curriculum.  Inclusive opportunities for these students require careful planning and collaboration.  The presenters will share their real-world strategies and tools to help teachers successfully build inclusive activities for their students.  Tools for planning, collaborating and implementing activities to keep the students engaged will be shared.
1. Identify 3 keys to successful inclusion.
2. Describe 2 elements that are important to consider in planning inclusive experiences for students with complex needs.
3. Discuss at least 2 strategies or tools that can be used to create successful inclusion experiences for these students.
