Kaley Presnell

Kaley Presnell is currently an ESE Program Specialist for St. Johns County School District servicing students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities in the middle school and high school setting. Previously, she taught self-contained ESE for nine years. Kaley was awarded Rookie Teacher of the Year for St. Johns County School District in 2016 and was the recipient of the Diana McLendon Excellence in Teaching Memorial Award in 2021.

Kaley holds a master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida and Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. She also has endorsements in autism spectrum disorder, reading, and ESOL from the University of North Florida. 

Kaley has been an active member of Best Buddies, a non-profit organization that fosters friendships between people with and without disabilities for over 15 years. She currently sits on the Best Buddies Advisory Board focusing on program expansion in the North Florida region. Kaley is very passionate about inclusion for people with disabilities both in the school setting and the community.

Kaley’s PEPSA project focuses on modeling ways to modify standards-based lessons for teachers through make and take training opportunities.
