Emily “Em” Lazott

Em Lazott, M.S.Ed., BCBA is a Clinical Support Specialist at Early Start Autism, where she leads the Thrive Program for children ages 6–12. With a background rooted in applied behavior analysis, education, and social work, Em brings over a decade of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families across a variety of settings—from residential care to public schools to in-home ABA therapy.   Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Em began her career as a behavior specialist working with individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Her journey later brought her to Florida, where she served as a social worker in the Keys and an ESE teacher in Palm Beach County before earning her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.   Em holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Framingham State University and earned her master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts.   Passionate about sustainable caregiving and authentic connection, Em believes that when we care for ourselves, we show up more fully for the communities we serve. Her approach to clinical work is grounded in empathy, teamwork, and an ever-present commitment to learning.   Outside of her professional work, Em finds renewal in movement and creativity. Whether she’s hiking through nature, lifting weights at the gym, or playing music, she values activities that bring both energy and balance to her life.
