Dr. Romero is a bilingual Filipino Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychology. Very fortunately for us, we were able to recruit Dr. Romero to join our faculty. She has 20 years of clinical experience with expertise in the assessment and treatment of Autistic individuals and individuals with complex psychiatric conditions. She uses neurodivergent affirming approaches to assessment and teaching. She supervises graduate students, psychology interns, and postdocs in complex neuropsychological assessments and comprehensive autism diagnostic evaluations. She had contributed many research articles, presentations, and book chapters related to ASD, with particular focus on multicultural considerations.
