AbstractThe Delivering Innovative Vocational Education through Virtual Reality Technology (DIVE-VRT) project integrates virtual reality and artificial intelligence technology into an existing, highly successful transition and employment program to train and certify youth and adults with lifelong and acquired disabilities in skilled trades. This presentation will share information about the DIVE-VRT program, address project related questions, discuss the potential implications and impact of the DIVE-VRT project, and share information about participation.
Objectives1. Provide information about a new transition and employment training program that utilizes virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies to train and certify youth and adults with lifelong and acquired disabilities in skilled trades.
2. Address questions about the DIVE-VRT program.
3. Discuss the implications and potential impact of the DIVE-VRT project.
4. Share information regarding opportunities to participate in the DIVE-VRT program and/or to replicate DIVE for your community.
