Alex Rockenstyre

Alex Rockenstyre holds an honors bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rollins College and is currently a graduate student in Cognitive Science at the Uni. Central Florida (UCF). Additionally, Alex has been employed since 2023 as a Research Specialist in the Office of Research at UCF’s College of Nursing Academic Health Sciences campus. In this role, Alex assists, supervises, and collaborates on research projects within the college and between multiple departments at UCF, as well as across several universities, community partners, and departments. Alex is working toward achieving a career in Clinical Neuropsychology with a specialization in neurodevelopmental conditions and research interests spanning autistic sensory experience, clinical neuroscience, long-term impacts of disrupted socioemotional development in adolescence, and reducing health disparities in multiply marginalized populations.
