Caryn D. Parkhurst, MSN, RN, NEA BC, CCRN, is a PhD student at the University of Central Florida, focused on advancing nursing leadership, evidence-based practice, and the creation of new knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
With more than two decades of experience, she brings expertise in critical care, neurosciences, oncology, and leadership development. Caryn is passionate about translating research into practice to strengthen teams, improve quality, and enhance patient-centered care.
She is a recipient of the DAISY Nurse Leader Award, recognizing her commitment to compassionate leadership and excellence in nursing practice. Caryn is actively engaged in professional organizations that support nursing leadership and research and is committed to advancing evidence-based practice within the profession.
