Katie Gonzalez, M.S., CCC-SLP is the founder and practicing Speech-Language Pathologist of Play to Grow Speech Therapy LLC in Gainesville, FL. She completed her undergraduate studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida and earned her Master of Science at The University of South Florida. After years of working in a variety of clinical settings, Katie opened her own private practice in 2023 to focus more exclusively on children with autism spectrum disorder and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). 
 
Katie is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming, individualized therapy that empowers children and families through connection, collaboration, and total communication approaches. She has extensive experience working with minimally-speaking and nonspeaking individuals, supporting language development, social communication, and AAC implementation across home, school, and community environments. Katie strives to create a supportive and inclusive space where every client’s voice is valued and communication in all forms is celebrated.
