EDUCATOR’S DAY

A LOW COST DAY DESIGNED FOR EDUCATORS, PROFESSIONALS, &  FAMILY MEMBERS. ACCESS TO FRIDAY SESSIONS IS INCLUDED IN THE FULL CONFERENCE ADMISSION TICKET, OR MAY BE PURCHASED ALONE FOR THE EARLY BIRD RATE OF $25, THROUGH DECEMBER 14, 2026.

ABOUT THE EDUCATOR’S DAY

The Florida Centers for Autism and Related Disabilities recognize that educators often face challenges in accessing professional development.  CARD is proud to be to continue to offer this professional development day to Florida teachers at a very low cost or included in with your weekend registration. In 2022, parent and adult-focused sessions were added to the Friday schedule in response to feedback from these stakeholders. While the sessions are largely focused on issues relevant to K-12 education, other professionals seeking enrichment or continuing education credits may attend Friday as part of the full conference registration, with or without CEUs. Please be sure you select the correct ticket when registering for the conference.

The Educator’s Day also honors the Diana McLendon Teaching Award recipients, who exemplify the excellence in teacher students with autism that Diana McLendon demonstrated. The day will begin promptly at 8:00am and finish at 3:45pm.

All sessions on dates below are confirmed. We are extremely excited about the variety and caliber of offerings this year! We understand that the number of important topics featured in our schedule sometimes results in having to choose between two or more sessions you would like to attend.  This year, we will be repeating a limited number of sessions during the conference to address this challenge. Times and rooms are subject to change within the date. Final schedules will be available in the conference app in December.
